5 – Day Marangu Route – Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing
Overview
The Marangu Route, famously known as the “Coca-Cola” route, is the oldest established route to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Though considered one of the easiest walking routes, it has a low success rate of 42% due to poor acclimatization. The route uses the same ascent and descent path, making it less scenic but suitable during the rainy season.
