11 Days 10 Nights Wildlife Safari with Zanzibar Beach in Tanzania
Day 1: Airport to Arusha
Arrival, pick up from Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your lodge in Arusha Town.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Travel from Arusha at 8.00am to Tarangire National Park after early breakfast. Tarangire National Park is known for its elephant's herds of up to 300, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland grazing and browsing in the dry river bed. There is Silale swamp that attracts 550 varieties of birds, the most breeding species you'll see in one habitat anywhere in the world! The park is also home of tree climbing pythons, as well as lions and leopards. You will enjoy game drive and game viewing with picnic lunch.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, taking picnic lunches with you and drive to Ngorongoro crater descend down to the crater floor for a full day of tracking game with your guide. The crater is 610m deep and 260km² wide, making it the largest Caldera in the world. The crater contains all the big five animals (lions, elephants, rhinos, leopard and buffaloes), hippos, cheetah, antelopes and spotted hyena. Also, in the crater you can see different species of birds. Other game such as velvet monkey, jackal, foxes, rock and tree hyraxes, warthog, gnu, zebra and hare. You will have your lunch and later drive to your lodge in Ngorongoro.
Day 4: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park
Early Breakfast at around 6.00a.m, then proceed on a route drive to Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is undoubtedly the best-known wild life sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural and scenic values it as the greatest of plains concentration of plains game in Africa, also known worldwide for its endless plains, wildebeest migration, pride of lions and other predators like hyenas, cheetahs and leopards. Crocodiles can be found in the Grumeti River, as well as hippos, giraffes, antelopes and gazelles.
Day 5: Full day in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast have full day game drive in the park, lunch at the lodge. Also you will enjoy variety of birds that decorates the parks with difference sounds.
Day 6: Serengeti Plains to Zanzibar Via Kilimanjaro
Early start morning as you drive back to Arusha and depart from Kilimanjaro Airport to Zanzibar. Arrival to Zanzibar depending on flight schedule transfer to hotel.
Day 7: Zanzibar Safari Blue Full Day
The best boat excursion in Zanzibar safari blue departs from the fishing village of fumba in south west Zanzibar and we will take you to see sandbank, kwale island and coral reef of Menai Bay a beautiful conservation area and green lagoon surrounded by mangrove trees. Safari blue is a full day trip and include use of top-quality snorkeling with guides and instruct tours, ice cold sodas, mineral water and soft drink with fruits, A delicious Zanzibar seafood lunch with grilled fish and slipper lobster, gastronomic fruit tasting, coffee. There also an opportunity to sail in ngalawa a traditional outriggered canoe.
Day 8: Stone Town Tour, Prison Island & Nakupenda Sand Bank
It may not have a romantic name, but stone town is the old and cultural heart of Zanzibar. The old stone town is a world heritage declared by UNESCO in a decade now. Discover and tour main city market which was opened in 1904 and you will obtain full picture of stone town's architecture, including its sand and stone antique built building with Arab/Indian carved doors with brass studs and carved balconies Along the twisting lanes of stone town, former palaces and Arab mansion (Sultan Palace Museum, House of wonder also known as Beit el jalb 1886) hint at grander age for this port city on Zanzibar western coast. Thereafter have a trip to Prison Island and Nakupenda sandbank for relation along the beach.
Day 9: Spice Farm Tour
The history of Zanzibar would be incomplete without the cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper and Safron and many other spices which brought the sultan of Oman. One of the most popular excursions in Zanzibar, the spice tour it is half day excursion that begins with the drive through the country sides lush vegetation followed by walks through several spice plantation such as cloves, cardamon, cinnamon, black pepper, turmeric, vanilla, nutmeg etc. During the tour you will be able to smell and taste spices, herbs as well as tropical fruits and at the end of the tour you will be able to experience the many ways of utilizing spices, and the tour will conclude with a stop to a spice stall selling fresh packed spices.
Day 10: Free Day in Zanzibar
This is the day that you will have your own time, relaxing along the beach and enjoying the trip to Zanzibar by having your own time.
Day 11: Departure
Early Morning after breakfast depart from hotel back home, and it will be the end of the safari.
